So, the competition is taking place on the 2nd of October at the Carnegie Court Hotel in Swords, Co. Dublin. The venue is 5km from Dublin Airport and 10km from Dublin Ferryport.
Admission will be free for IPMS members worldwide; remember to bring your membership cards though so we know. For non-IPMS members there will be a €2 entry fee but it'll be free for children. There will be several traders on site during the competition and we'll also have club displays as well.
It is an open competition so everyone is welcome to participate and there will be around 40 categories to choose from. There will be a fixed fee for entering the competition but it hasn't been decided yet. I will get back to you on that.
These are the preliminary categories for the competition: Link. The categories are to be finalized by our national committee on the 6th of August and I'll get back to you with updates after I know more.
Of special note is a new trophy sponsored by IPMS UK for the best model of a British subject. That particular trophy is for IPMS members only.
