Operational Overview
This campaign is about the fighting in Sicily and Italy.

When the allies invaded Sicily, they fought the cream of the German troops all through the island and up the Italian Peninsula till the German surrender in 1945

The allies fought some of the worst terrain of the war, mountain ranges, deep rivers, towns, etc. It was a learning lesson for them that they used in the later NE campaigns of France and Germany itself.

The Rules and Regs
The rules are simple:
1) the time-line is July 10,1943 to May 2,1945
2) Any vehicle, ship, aircraft, etc that fought during the time-line is allowed
3) Stand alone or Diorama is allowed
4) Figures are allowed
5) Wip's are encouraged
6) Multiple builds are allowed, But only 1 ribbon will be awarded
7) The builds cannot be started before the start date and 1 photo of the model parts must be posted before you start.
8) You must post 1 clear photo in the official gallery for your ribbon.
