OK I'm into this WoT now and just wanted to find out how you record a battle.

I'm running WoT on a Mac using Wineskin (not full screen) so the recording means needs to work with Mac OS.
Any advice except, buy a PC?!

Hey... I think in the options area there is a checkbox for whether or not to keep battle recordings. Of course these aren't actual video but just a digital record of the events your client saw during the battle.

From that point you can find the saved files (they are in the Games/WorldofTanks/replays directory. When you click on them it launches the game and you get sort of a battle view player. What you need to turn them into videos is a screen capture app like Fraps or some other. I use Fraps but I think there are some free ones out there as well.

Cheers,
Jim

The problem with replays is that they become unplayable with later updates; so Jim's absolutely right - you need to record the video with a video capture program.

Does anyone know of a good free one? (I used to use overwolf, but then it stopped recording in-game footage...)

Do you have an Nvidia graphics card? If so you might be able to use their ShadowPlay app. It works very well for live recordings or replays.

Cheers,
