Steam, each day, puts up tons of games for 40% to 75% off. Many of these are bestsellers.
Summer is a time of lull for gamers, waiting for fall when most games are released. Steam seems determined not to let their sales go into a slow patch, though. In the wake of their new gameplay cards, they are now cutting back prices on all their products in an effort to keep the summer full of gaming.
From now to July 22, Steam puts up daily deals, with many great games on sale. Terraria, Portal 2, and Tomb Raider all go up. Every eight hours, Steam users vote on which game they want the price cut on. Currently, it's Skyrim Legendary Edition, Bioshock Infinite, and Tomb Raider. Tomb Raider, a normally $50 game, would go up for $12.50.
If Steam wants gamers to start combing through their wallets, the certainly are succeeding.
