The MMO World of Tanks is only three years old, yet is steadily growing in the wargaming community.
World of Tanks has just released its 8.6 update that will make gameplay more balanced with shots fired and credits earned. Earlier this month, they also announced that they have 60 million registered users. The new update included splitting the North American server into two different randomized servers to reduce lag, because the original server just wasn't big enough to handle all the players.
At E3, Wargaming.net put forward something else they had up their sleeve. World of Tanks would be supporting the Xbox 360 console. They are now accepting beta testers to try out this new version of the game. When Xbox is released, PC gamers will not be affected as the two platforms will be on two separate servers. Now, we're left wondering whether World of Warplanes or World of Warships will also support consoles?
