Legal issues concerning Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate III are currently plaguing the co-founder of the original publisher.
Older gaming fans may remember Baldur's Gate, a title that pioneered the games of the twenty-first century, such as morality choices and player character development.
Now, the enhanced edition for the game has been removed from sale, and plans for Baldur's Gate III have been put on hold because of the long and strenuous legal mess involving copyright issues.
Beamdog's founder, Trent Oster, says that the prospects of resuming the game are mixed as sorting out the legal issues could take quite some time. Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition is currently on indefinite hold as well.
