2K Games will soon be releasing a new XCOM game set in the 1960's.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown received a heap of praise for its turn based strategy and unique gameplay, but will its upcoming sequel still be able to please fans? Many people weren't too happy as it was supposedly going to be a first-person shooter, and thought it would be going against the series' turn-based strategy combat.
Now, it has gone through a complete makeover, being named The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, and changing it to a third person shooter. But the game is still being described as very different from its predecessor and is still not turn based, but instead real time. It will be released this summer, tentatively August 20th, 2013.
